It was a very well done conclusion to the Indy series. They addressed his age with out dwelling on it. Harrison Ford worked out very intensely to look "Indy" like again, and it worked.
There were the typical "yeah right" stunts, and the predictible plot, but you do not see these types of films for turns and twists. It is fun humor, and laughs. That is achieved. Typical chase sceens, big bad guys, dumb governement agents, and the completed quest. Yes Lucas used the Wilham Scream yet again, HA HA HA
I can't say where it ranks in the Indy series, but it is worth it to see on the big screen.

2:20 min rated PG (simulated violence, animal violence not bad really)

Second Narnia obviously. The visuals are excellent, the story moves fast no real lags. Even not having read the book you know what happens which is ok, nobody sees a kids show for plot twists. CS Lewis friendship with Tolkien really shows in this film. I enjoyed it, not up there with origional Star Wars, but still worth it if you like fantasy adventure. $50.00 for tickets and snacks, eee gads! My Mastercard is not priceless. Still the movie is a 7.5 out of 10

Well it was better than Eragon, maybe. The rapidly wearing out genera of kids fantasy stories has another one to add to the mix. Typical kid family drama, good special effects, typical plot, I almost fell asleep. Can't touch Narnia, does carry a truer fantasy story than Disney's Bridge to Terabithia. I guess I am ticked I spent full movie price for a 'Netflicks" quality show. Also the only good preview was Indy jones.. Speed Racer as a real movie?

This is the third installment of I am Legend.

First off this is not young child friendly, my 11 year old did ok, but parents should be aware of suspense, monster chases, and some computer generated animal violence. There is gun use, and some hand-to-hand fighting. Nothing beyond Star Wars type violence so it is not gore filled.

Acting is super Will Smith pulls the main character well. You believe he went through all this time of isolation and fear. He does pull off the isolation as well as Tom Hanks did in Castaway. The support cast is not as developed, which is fine, no need to complicate the story.
Anyone who read the book or the Internet knows the plot, so you will not be surprised. The trip from beginning to end is a fun ride, and you do feel as part of the story, and understand the characters, and feel what they feel. Do expect a predictable plot with only a could of will it happen tricks.

Given how good effects are these days, seeing it on the big screen is not a huge advantage, seeing it at home will be just fine. It is not a special effects show it is a human story.

It was an enjoyable show, but the extra costs of theater will not make a difference. I would rent it, or buy it second hand.

7 out of 10
